Deeply rooted in the country's culture and history, Indian design usually features rich textiles and furniture, often handmade using traditional methods and often rich in color, pattern and texture. We decided to use this as our main inspiration in packaging Ramya. We wanted to showcase a 'handmade' look to our labels so we opted to stay away from the glossy look, instead we portrayed a 'shabby chic' effect. Which we just love and hope you would too.
The new beauty brand caters to the tastes of consumers in Trinidad & Tobago, using the full research and development capabilities of the West Indian Skincare company. Ramya’s specialized formulas, for example, contain island plants like aloe vera and hibiscus. Our ambition is for Ramya to be affordable, but aspirational.
